Something Resembling a Review of Iron Man 3

Here’s the thing about The Avengers – it was a perfect. Okay yes I’m biased but it was pretty much everything I wanted out of a comic adaptation. The problem is that it has set the bar pretty blood high and I was starting to worry that the next round of Marvel films just wouldn’t live up to it… I was wrong. Iron Man 3 has renewed my excitement for Phase Two and here’s why.

Recapturing Teen Wolf: Mutual Jacket Tugging and Other Adventures

Previously on Teen Wolf… Wolf’s bane is a thing, Derek’s wanted for murder (thanks Scott) and Jackson’s got a scratch. Scott wants the cure and Derek needs Scott’s help, they’re going to kill the Alpha.

Talking Teen Wolf: Really they’re just messing with us at this stage

Last week was massive – we had the promo and the MTV Movie Awards and things were happening, like really happening, all over the place. This week they’re just messing with us. We got an extended promo, some more pictures of pretty people starring intensely at nothing, some symbols and a little bit of audio but other than it was just you’re usual run of the mill, tweets from the set, ridiculous vines and regurgitated spoilers from sources like EOnline. That and the rest of the world have begun to realize just how awesome Dylan O’Brien is.

This week’s shipping news is dedicated to the turbulent teen years and all the crazy idealistic crap that comes along with it. Talking Teen Wolf: This will definitely hurt!

On Saturday the Teen Wolf tumblr teased that they would release a hint of the trailer that was soon to be screened. All they gave us was 7 seconds of wolfs bane blowing in the wind and three words: THIS MIGHT HURT, but it was enough to send the fandom into a frenzy. That’s nothing compare to when the actual teaser was released. You know what Teen Wolf – “This Might Hurt” is not an accurate enough assessment of that trailers effect because was already bloody hurting now it just feels like you pushed salt in the wound.

But in all seriousness, let’s talk about the Teen Wolf promos and the MTV Movies Awards.

Talking Teen Wolf: Hoechlin stop, you're making the rest of us look bad.

Hey Teen Wolf fans, how’s everyone doing? Getting ready for the big trailer reveal. On the off chance you forget why it is we love this program Teen Wolf released a vid about how our favourite teen wolves stay in shape… not only is this vid filled with sweaty flexing Carver twins, it also has adorable Posey and Hoechlin moments. Also drama at Beacon Hills Hospital, Stiles birthday, Allison Argent Appreciation Week and Shantal Rhodes joins Natalie and Karen for a very special Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast.

Shipping News: Hetronormativity - Don't do it!

This week I am reminded of just how fundamentally heteronomative Western society really is, and shippers finally get an article that treats us like actual people. I know I’m as shocked as you are.

Those of you that frequent Pop Culture is Not Art might have noticed that I have become increasingly obsessed with a little MTV show called Teen Wolf. Recapturing Teen Wolf: There’s a reason they’re called lunatics

Previously on Teen Wolf… Lydia is ignoring Stiles. Jackson is hitting on Allison. Allison’s family are werewolf hunters and Scott is still a werewolf. The Alpha wants Scott to kill his friends and Allison broke up with him. All in all things are not going well for Scott or Derek who's been accused of murder... again.

Sorry guys, I am the slackest of slack but it’s been a big week/weekend of answering stupid questions so this weeks Shipping News has to make up for missing last weeks. Anyway this week: Colton and Barrowman on a plane, Doctor Who breathes life into a classic ship and slash fans cringe at their “Gay Payoff”.
